Diamond Tester (Basic)

This Diamond tester is designed to assess the hardness of gemstones and assist in determining whether a stone is likely to be a diamond. The device operates by measuring thermal conductivity, a common method used to differentiate diamonds from many other gem materials.

The tester is suitable for quick, preliminary checks and is commonly used for basic screening purposes. Results provide an indication of authenticity but should not be considered a full gemological certification.

Important notice:

Due to moissanite having a hardness and thermal conductivity similar to that of natural diamond, test results between diamond and moissanite may be inconclusive. Additional testing methods are recommended for definitive identification.
